Job Description:
Titan Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (with program management experience) to support the development and integration of communications systems for Government applications in the aviation, land based and maritime (ship) domains. The Systems Engineer coordinates uses their knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines and project management to perform engineering research, design, development, modification, integration and testing of communications and mission systems for specific Government platform applications. This includes architecting the interconnection of subsystems and their components, equipment, and networks. The Systems Engineer leads trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, allocates requirements from parent documents, develop algorithms, author test plans and procedures, verifies requirements, integrates and tests at the subsystem and system level, perform root cause analysis, reliability prediction, helps to resolve defects, interface with vendors and customers, and interact with engineers of other disciplines to deliver quality products.
Qualifications:
• The systems engineer will have a technical degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aeronautical engineering, physics, or mathematics
• 3-5 years’ experience as a systems engineer or related experience
• Strong technical foundation in subsystems design, fabrication, integration and testing and software development processes
• Desired: Demonstrated proficiency in Matlab or Python, JAVA, C++ or equivalent high-level computing language Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo, Rhapsody or similar tools
• Desired: Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Mattermost or similar tools) Experience with Algorithm definition/development
• Desired: Radio Frequency and Communications design experience and sensor systems
• Desired: Knowledge of RF Test Equipment including Communications Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes

• Interfaces with vendors and customers, and interact with engineers of other disciplines to deliver quality products
• Leads Systems Integration of computers and analog and digital radars, electronic warfare systems, circuitry components, and controls
• Communicates with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion
• Develops and maintain documentation with configuration management for all development and integration efforts
• Has understanding of design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, able to be manufactured, and meet reliability goals including proper de rating of parts when applicable

Position: Computer / Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description:
Titan Systems is looking for an electrical and computer design engineer that can design integrated circuits and microelectronic components, as well as develop software code, for use in military communication and radars systems. This includes developing specifications, design, including Computer Aided Design (CAD), assembly, fabrication and drawings generation for SATCOM, Line-of-Sight (LOS), network applications, and other critical military systems.
Qualifications:
• Accredited undergraduate degree (or higher) in electrical or computer engineering
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Hardware Design Engineer in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required
• 3+ years’ experience with software development using C/C++ and JAVA
• 3+ years’ experience working with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Radio Frequency and Communications design experience desired
• Knowledge of RF Test Equipment including Communications Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes
• 3+ years’ experience with Linux application development desired
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Mattermost or similar tools) is desired

• Responsible for design activities to include Development of circuits, power interfaces and data exchange interfaces using off-the-shelf components or newly design circuits for communications/ network systems
• Architecting and designing computer hardware for advanced processing solutions including leading development and documenting of software solutions
• Use your technical capabilities to test and troubleshoot computer networks, CAD/AVL software, RF and electronic hardware, cellular data communications systems, as well as, program and configure LMR radios and Mobile Cellular Routers
• The employee will support requirements generation, performing engineering design trade studies, drafting engineering documentation and artifacts, and assisting in the development of system or components
• The engineer will research, design, develop, and test on a variety of electronic equipment and systems
• Systems will include computers and analog and digital radars, electronic warfare systems, circuitry components, and controls
• Designs, documents, and develops code (to include firmware) for analog and digital signal processors or other programmable hardware devices such as Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). This includes application of Place and Route (P&R) tools with various libraries to create physical implementations of designs
• Conducts the necessary hardware engineering and related functions to modify and adapt vendor-manufactured hardware to meet special Government specific requirements
• Communicates with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion
• Develops and maintain documentation with configuration management for all design work
• Conducts design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, able to be manufactured, and meet reliability goals including proper derating of parts when applicable
